Jayna is a sweet and social kitten, one of a litter born to a street smart feral mother. According to her rescuer, her exotic looks may be the product of a mix of Maine Coon, Chausie (Abyssinian/Asian jungle cat hybrid) and Siamese.
The smallest of the litter, Jayna is built like a modern Siamese and can be quite vocal requesting attention. She is agile and curious. Although she may be a little shy at first, Jayna warms up quickly. She loves to be petted and held.
Jayna has bonded to her foster mother but is friendly, or at least tolerant, toward the rest of the family in her foster home. (She will probably pick a favorite person in her new home). She gets along easily with the resident adult cat, an exuberant rat terrier, and a young teenager. She will probably be able to handle less than gentle play from a child.
Jayna is scheduled for spay, vaccinations and microchipping in very early January, after which she will be available for adoption. She has already been tested (negative) for FIV.
